Hawks Talon Falls To Pacers Gaming In The TICKET Powered By AT&T

ATLANTA – Earlier tonight, Hawks Talon Gaming Club lost its first matchup by a score of 53-60 to Pacers Gaming in the first round of THE TICKET powered by AT&T, the third and final NBA 2K League tournament of the season at The Fortress at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Fla. Prior to the start of tonight’s game, Hawks Talon made a lineup change between DAT BOY SHOTZ (Connor Rodrigues) and ARSONAL (Devon Peek). As a result, for the first time in franchise history, two Hawks Talon players – DAT BOY SHOTZ and MRSTYLEZ (Drew Valle) – finished a single game recording double-double performances.

“Credit to Pacers Gaming for how they adjusted to our new lineup tonight,” Hawks Talon GC’s Team Manager and Head Coach Wesley Acuff said. “We will look to build on this tournament performance for the remaining regular season games down the stretch.”

In the team’s loss to Pacers Gaming, Hawks Talon’s MRSTYLEZ finished with 11 points and 11 assists while DAT BOY SHOTZ totaled 10 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and a game-high two blocks. RANDO (Randolph Moreno), who scored 12 points in the third quarter, finished with a team-high 19 points. XXSTL2LAXX (Mark Hampton, Jr.) added eight points, three rebounds and two steals, and ARSONAL (Devon Peek) rounded out the group with five points, two rebounds and one block.
