Hawks Talon Gaming Club Acquires Bp (Michael Diaz) And Two Picks In Trade

ATLANTA — Hawks Talon Gaming Club, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks, announced today that it has acquired Bp (Michael Diaz) in addition to a second-round and a fourth-round pick in the 2020 NBA 2K League Draft, in a trade with Kings Guard Gaming. In exchange, Hawks Talon will send Dat Boy Shotz (Connor Rodrigues) as well as the club’s first-round and second-round picks in the upcoming 2020 NBA 2K League Draft to Kings Guard Gaming, the official NBA 2K League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings.

At the conclusion of the league’s 2019 season, Bp was named one of five finalists for the 2019 Intel Performance NBA 2K League Most Valuable Player Award. Additionally, Bp earned recognition on the NBA 2K League’s 2019 All-Rookie Team and was ninth in the league’s #Glitchy25, a ranking system determined by the NBA 2K League players to determine the 25 best players in the NBA 2K League.

In 16 games during the regular season, Bp averaged 19.3 points, 7.9 assists, 1.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. In a historic performance against Pacers Gaming, Bp led all scorers with 41 points, which at the time tied the previous NBA 2K League record for most points in a single game while setting the record for most three’s in an NBA 2K League game with 11. Later in the season, Bp then broke the NBA 2K League record for most points in a single game against Jazz Gaming, finishing with 46 total points.

In 12 games last season, Dat Boy Shotz averaged 16.6 points, 2.2 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game.

Bp joins Rando (Randolph Moreno), who was recently protected this offseason by Hawks Talon GC. Rando finished his rookie campaign in the NBA 2K League averaging 14.7 points and 4.1 assists per game.
